The Safe Deliveries Roadmap© Safe Table Learning Collaborative
Through the Safe Deliveries Roadmap initiative, the Washington State Hospital Association and our partners aim to improve maternal and infant outcomes by establishing and promoting evidence-based best practices for care across four phases of the perinatal continuum: Pre-pregnancy, Pregnancy, Labor and Delivery, and Postpartum.
Obstetrical practices and maternal/infant health leaders are invited to join us in this important endeavor through the adoption of these evidenced-based practices to ensure safe deliveries and healthy babies.
This initiative is undertaken in partnership with the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists; Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses; Washington State Department of Health; Foundation for Healthcare Quality; Washington State Health Care Authority; March of Dimes; Northwest Organization of Nurse Executives; Rural Healthcare Quality Network; Washington State Medical Association; and the Washington State Perinatal Collaborative, and builds upon the successful effort to reduce early elective deliveries. The initiative is led by Tom Benedetti, MD and Dale Reisner, MD and supported by national perinatal experts.
